This is techno challenged Jan's quilt and here is what she wrote

I found the word ‘same’ quite difficult, so my quilt represents the 24 hour day, no matter what the sun still rises and sets and there is always night and day.
And there is always another day tomorrow. The time on the clock? I usually get up at 5.30am but that didn’t look good on the clock so I gave myself a sleep in and put 5.50am.

whats the next topic?

Linda do you have the list?

Same

This is my same quilt.  Each of the four blocks is made up from the same half square triangle block, but are not the same.  (I think it makes sense!)  I didnt find it too hard but then it was my word choice.

Same

Well here it is......This word/topic didnt inspire me and finally I went with the use of the word same that I hear at home every day. With four children they are always looking for or asking for *one the same only bigger or red not blue.* same like his but metal not wood? Same but different. After I finished the quilt I realized that I should have made each star a different colour...oh well....

2013 - A whole new year

There is a whole new year ahead.  2013.  (where last year went I'm not too sure -it seemed to go by in such a blurr).  This year will be different of course.  We are back to our blog - thanks to Bev and Jan for lending it to me for my UFO year.

This year will be different in that we will be doing 6 quilts - to be revealed at the end of February, April, June, August, October and December.  The topics will be know in advance - a big reveal in the next post.  See you then
